All sessions are led by our experienced, qualified art teacher Monica Sinclair-Smith.
Complete 5 sessions and receive the Young Otters Summer Art Club Certificate.
Everyone receives an Otter Studio Badge.

Workshops:
31st July - Wednesday: Kick Off with Creativity - Summer of Sport with The Olympic Games : Collage

8th August- Thursday: Deliciously Fun Ice Cream Sundae Painting
Paint your dream ice cream sundae with vibrant colors and creative flair. This mouth-watering art project will look good enough to eat!
14th August - Wednesday: Ocean Treasures - Shell Gelli Printing
Discover the magic of gelli printing using real shells and other seaside treasures. Create stunning, textured prints that evoke the beauty of the ocean.
15th August- Thursday: Jurassic Coast Adventure - Local Landmarks in Clay
Sculpt and mold the iconic landmarks of the Jurassic Coast in clay. Bring these historic and scenic wonders to life with your hands!
21st August - Wednesday: Seaside Masterpiece - Beach Painting with Sand and Acrylics
Blend the textures of sand with the vividness of acrylic paints to create a captivating beach scene. Feel the waves and the sun in your artwork!
22nd August- Thursday: Jurassic Coast Adventure - Local Landmarks in Clay
Sculpt and mold the iconic landmarks of the Jurassic Coast in clay. Bring these historic and scenic wonders to life with your hands!
28th August - Wednesday: Ride the Waves - Surfing Art Extravaganza
Capture the thrill of surfing with dynamic and energetic artworks. Use various mediums to depict the power and beauty of ocean waves and capture the surfing vibe.
29th August- Thursday: Holiday Memories - Designing a Beautiful Record of Your Adventures
Create a personalized, artistic record of your summer holidays. Use a mix of mediums to preserve your favorite memories in a unique and beautiful way.
Terms and Conditions
Registration and Payment
- Booking: Spaces are limited. Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Payment: The cost is £30 per session. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure a spot.
Attendance
- Age Requirement: The club is open to children aged 6-12.
- Arrival and Departure: Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their children arrive on time and are picked up promptly at the end of each session.
Health and Safety
- Medical Information: Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs your child may have at the time of booking.
- Emergency Contact: Provide an emergency contact number in case we need to reach you during the session.
Food and Drinks
- Food Provision: We do not provide food. You are welcome to send a small lunchbox with snacks and a drink for our break. Otter Studio will provide bottled water.
- Nut-Free Zone: Ensure that any snacks sent are nut-free to accommodate children with allergies.
Conduct and Behavior
- Respectful Behavior: Children are expected to behave respectfully towards each other and the materials provided. Any disruptive behavior may result in the child being asked to leave the session without a refund.
- Supervision: Our experienced, qualified art teacher, Monica Sinclair-Smith, will supervise all activities. However, Otter Studio is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that occur during the sessions.
Cancellation and Refunds
- No Refunds Within 14 Days: No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the workshop date.
- Full Refunds: For cancellations made more than 14 days in advance, a full refund will be provided.
- Session Cancellation: In the unlikely event that a session is cancelled by Otter Studio, a full refund for that session will be issued.
Photography and Media
- Photos: We may take photographs of the children and their artwork for promotional purposes. Please inform us if you do not wish your child to be photographed.
Liability
- Personal Property: Otter Studio is not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal items brought to the sessions.
- Injury: Otter Studio is not liable for any injuries sustained during the sessions. Parents/guardians must ensure their children follow instructions.
Agreement
- By booking a session, you agree to these terms and conditions and consent to your child participating in the activities under the supervision of Monica Sinclair-Smith and the Otter Studio staff.
